Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We never sell your personal information for money, and we never use anything you enter in the app for advertising.

There are two things we do that California law may count as "selling" or "sharing". If you arrive from a Google ad and then create an account, we report Google's click identifier for that ad, and the time your account was created, to Google, so we can see which ads lead to sign-ups. When you buy a plan on the website, the page you return to after checkout tells Google that a purchase happened, its amount and currency, and a one-way code for the order. We never send your name, your email, or anything you enter in the app. Opting out here, with or without an account, stops the sign-up report and makes the purchase report run without advertising cookies and with Google's restricted data processing on.

What opting out does: this browser stops remembering Google ad clicks, the Google tag on our website is set not to store or use advertising data, and any ad click saved with your account is deleted so it is never reported to Google. Our website also stops counting this browser's page views. It takes effect right away. Your choice is saved in this browser. If you are signed in to Two Porch Lights in this browser, or sign in later, your account is opted out too.

Other requests

You can also ask to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, or delete it. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Send requests from the email address on your account so we can match them to it. Opting out never needs that. Someone you authorize can make a request for you with your signed permission.
