Delete your account
Last updated: August 21, 2026
You can delete your Two Porch Lights account yourself, at any time, without contacting us. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Delete it yourself, in under a minute
- In the Android app: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- In the iPhone app: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- On the website: sign in at twoporchlights.com/tracker.html, then Settings → Account → Delete my account.
You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. There is no waiting period and no undo.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials.
- Your private journal entries and your Tax Center records.
- The messages you sent, and any files you attached.
- Your membership in every shared space, along with your notification settings and any devices registered for alerts.
- Any shared space where you are the last remaining member is deleted entirely, including its expenses, calendar and message history.
What stays, and why
- Your co-parent's copy of a shared space. If the other parent is still in it, the space and their own records remain theirs. This is deliberate: a shared custody record is not one person's to erase.
- Limited billing records. We keep what we must to meet tax and accounting obligations. These are held by our payment providers, not used for anything else, and contain no content from your account.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it first, in the store you subscribed through:
- Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Subscribed on the website: use the billing portal link in Settings, or email us.
If you cannot get into your account
If you have lost access and cannot sign in to delete the account yourself, email support@twoporchlights.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete it within 30 days.
Questions about what we hold and why are answered in our Privacy Policy.
