Parenting plan on fileEither parent can ask the plan on file questions in plain words. Answers come only from the plan text and quote the section used. It is not legal advice and points parents to their attorney or mediator for interpretation. A plan goes on file from a PDF or a .txt file. On the website a scanned order can be read too: where a page has little or no text of its own, AI reads it from a picture of the page, up to 40 such pages. AI can misread a word or a number, so when pages were read that way, answers remind the parent to check quotes against their own copy. A PDF locked with a password can't be read, so a client may ask you for a copy without one. The plan copy is not part of the read-only access code view.
Mileage for kids' activitiesBy default, the parent who drove confirms each trip before anything is added. If the parents turn on Add trips automatically, each trip is added after the event and the driver can take it back out. Miles are charged at the IRS standard mileage rate for business use and always split 50/50, as a reimbursement between parents, not a tax figure.
